This past weekend I was watching Sam thoroughly enjoy himself playing futsol. He is playing with Beach FC players in an indoor futsol league. I realized as I was sitting there that we owe you a big thank you. When Sam came to you, he had just left a very high pressure situation. His team was successful, but many of the players were very demanding and high strung and they had put an enormous amount of pressure on him. He, being younger than everyone else, took it
personally and made the decision that he wanted to leave the team, and perhaps the sport. His confidence was very low.
You gave him the opportunity to excel, to lead, and to regain his confidence, which restored his joy in the game. We see the results of that confidence now. I am only sorry that we could not stay to see how far he could have gone with Premier AC. We know what you are trying to build with Premier AC and appreciate how much effort it requires. We wish you and the club only the best.
